Amazonite, sometimes called Amazon Stone, is a green form of microcline feldspar.It can be found in the United States, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Russia, Australia, and Namibia. Amazonite can display a schiller of light that is caused by its inclusions of orthoclase feldspar and albite.
It is believed that Amazonite can help soothe and calm the soul by providing harmony and balance. It's been called the stone of courage and truth because it is said to empower ones search for self-discovery of truth and integrity within, as well as helping one to move past judgement and fear.
