Barite is a barium sulfate mineral that crystallizes in the form of masses, tabular crystals, and even rarely, stalactites. Barite can be blue, white, grey, yellow, and brown. The most common form Barite is found in is its distinct “Desert Rose” shape. This shape occurs naturally and consists of blades of Barite almost perfectly forming the shape of a beautiful rose.
