Rainbow Moonstone Chip Bracelet

These bracelets are made with moonstone chips on a stretchy elastic string.
Moonstone is a sodium potassium aluminum silicate of the feldspar group that exhibits a pearly an opalescent appearance. When light hits the stone it produces the phenomenon called adularescence. Adularescence is the metallic iridescence originating from below the surface of a stone, that occurs when light is reflected between layers of minerals. Adularescence can also be found in other feldspar minerals such as Labradorite.
