Shungite is a rare black stone made of up to 99% carbon. It’s mainly found in Shunga, a village in Karelia, Russia. The stone has a unique composition. It contains fullerenes, a form of carbon having a large spheroidal molecule consisting of a hollow cage of atoms. 

Chemical Formula: SiO2-57%, Al2O3-4%, FeO-0.6%, TiO2-0.2%, MgO-1.2%, Fe2O3-1.49%, MnO-0.15%, S-1.2%, and K2O-1.5%.
