Apophyllite is a potassium-calcium fluoride-silicate mineral from the family of phyllosilicates and is structurally related to the zeolite family of minerals.
Apophyllite is usually clear or white, although it can also be found as grey, yellow, red, and green. Apophyllite differs from Clear Quartz as they often form in pyramidal shapes and their points will have 4 faces (or sides) as opposed to 6 and the hexagonal shape that Clear Quartz is known for.
