Red Tiger Eye, also known as Dragon’s Eye, is Tiger Eye with red shades and hues. Tiger’s Eye is a variety of macrocrystalline Quartz that formed as layers of Crocidolite, fibrous blue asbestos, that was then replaced over time by Chalcedony Quartz while still retaining the original shape of the asbestos fibers. This is what gives it its shiny luster.
