Dogtooth Calcite

Dogtooth calcite is named "dogtooth" because the stone itself looks like a large dog's teeth. Dogtooth calcite is also referred to as dog-toothed spar.

Calcite has more uses than any other mineral and is found everywhere on earth. Even the earth's crust is made up of a significant amount of calcite. It can be used as construction material (limestone and marble), abrasive cleaning agent, agricultural soil treatment, pharmaceuticals and more.
