Crazy Lace Agate, also known as Mexican Agate, is a variety of banded Chalcedony which is a mineral that is part of the Quartz family. It is mostly white, with layers of reds, browns, blacks and grays. The reason for its beautiful colorful layers is the inclusions of iron and aluminum. This stone can only be found in Chihuahua, Mexico.
