Grape Agate, also known as "botryoidal purple chalcedony,” is a rare type of chalcedony with a distinctive grape-like appearance. Chalcedony is a form of microcrystalline quartz, and when it occurs in clusters of tiny, round, and densely packed spheres, it resembles a bunch of grapes, hence the name. This stone is difficult to come by and makes an eye-catching addition to any collection!
